Baumer has announced that two of its latest product innovations have won “Product of the Year” awards: NexSonic ultrasonic sensor UF200 and the Baumer SWIR cameras CX.SWIR.XC.

By winning the 1st place (UF200, sensor technology category) and 2nd place (SWIR cameras, image processing category), Baumer says these innovations prove it is top of the list of automation specialists. The decision was made – not by an all-expert jury- but the readership of the trade magazine Computer & Automation.

The company says having received multiple awards: UF200 features the unique NexSonic Technology and is the latest newcomer to the large Baumer Toolbox of ultrasonic sensors. With NexSonic, sensor solutions expert Baumer says it has developed a measurably better ultrasonic technology and further strengthens technological leadership.

The new Baumer SWIR cameras CX.SWIR.XC feature an unprecedented level of precision for inspection tasks in the infrared spectral range. The crucial factor for such high precision is the patented thermal camera design.
